Do not know when the lady got married but if it was 58 she would not have seen the clock. Only possible after it was moved.
Nice piece of hokem thought. Must have been a fault in the 15c wiring. :-D
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

The lady says she lived in Gaywood, so would have seen the clock many times. Maybe not from the cake shop window :D Her name was Carole May and she married Arnold Hoke in October 1957.

That was actually the reason why I was writing. As I've said in another post, I'm compiling Kings Lynn ghost stories. There are familiar ones - but with little in the historical record - and more recent ones which have living witnesses.

Couple more stories on Kings Lynn on line Zoo. Do you have the one about Henrietta who is supposed to haunt Debenhams? Google KIngsLynnonline .com and click Haunted Lynn. T

Yes, I've got them all and have a few witnesses to strange things at Debehhams too. It seems that people are more willing to talk about their experiences than the owners of buildings and establishments. I've experienced a "collective clam-up"!

Carlo had his own shop on the corner of Priory Lane opposite Mann Egerton garage. I used to have my hair cut by Carlo.

Carlo was the greatest micky taker ever. When I went to his funeral at Wolferton church I had to park about 500 yards away
as there were so many people there. I visited his grave again the day I took the pictures during a walk there a few weeks ago.

I think I have mentioned it before on here somewhere that some toerag stole all his Tack that he used for his carriage rides.

Yes knew Donny well, but only had my haircut once by Donny. He would ask you how you wanted it, then cut it exactly like his. Haha Donny you were a character R.I.P.
