Had a morning drive down to The Point earlier and took a few photos of the boardwalk for you all to see.
First a distant shot:

The slightly overgrown path leading to the boardwalk:

A lifebelt:

The boardwalk viewed from the path that runs adjacent to the riverbank:

The boardwalk has two platforms with public information boards, this is the one nearest the riverbank:
[

Next the boardwalk crosses a small dyke:

Finally the boardwalk ends with the second platform:

A look back to the riverbank:

Some views from the boardwalk.
The old beacon on the riverbank:

The Point and the River Great Ouse:

Dock's grain tower:

Anglian Water's Biosolids Treatment Centre on the west bank:

And of course, the marshland itself:

Carrying on in the direction of The Point, a view of the boardwalk looking back towards Lynn:

Onto the riverbank and views of The Point:

And time to head for home:

Hope the photos are appreciated - i've deliberately compressed them to a low JPG quality to keep the page from being too bulky for them thar dialup users out there!
