With all the frosty weather recently, thought these little tricks might help. The cat litter one really works, just put the sock/socks on the dashboard.

Never heard of the cat litter one Ms Green. As for scraping the windows when they are iced up I never do. I just get a kettle of COLD water from the tap
and pour it over. As it is not ice that comes out of the tap it takes the ice off straight away. On really heavy frost days two times may have to be done.
Just make sure that you put the wipers on as soon as you have cleared the glass as it will freeze up fairly quickly if you dont. This method saves a lot of
time scraping out in the cold.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.
