SS Canberra Ship 1953 Greek Line

Postby parrotpals » 19 Nov 2017, 20:36

Hi Could anyone please tell me if they have any information on the SS Canberra which sailed from 1948 to 1954 particularly the june destination from south Hampton to Quebec and the incident of the ship coming in to port damaged taken on water. Passangers lost most of their trunks, cases and belongings in the water logged shipped. I cannot find any information on the passage other than a few old bits of info on the ship itself . Not to be confused with the SS Canberra that was a cruise liner that sailed from 1961 on. This ship was decommissioned in 1954
