Does anyone know what's going on at the moment, their websites not been updated for a while and gone quiet

I did hear he council were thinking of buying the track bed from NR that was last Oct but no news since

As I understand it 2012 is the year NR can go down the line and remove all remaining track and bridges so looks like this line will be gone forever if someone don't act soon

Just read in the paper today that it's unlikely to re open as there is no money available from the government, they want to go ahead with a bypass at Whittlesey

Apparently there are too many problems re opening it ranging from there being no room to run the trains from March to Peterborough, a new station needs to be built in Wisbech oh and a flyover on the A47 bypass
