thanks for that! was quite interesting i looked up brancaster and saw a few pics but they didnt show the one im on bout berryed under the sand. when im next down that way i will get a few pics

To be honest, I rarely read this section of the forum (I have a very wide definition of "Lynn area history" that generally includes the whole of West Norfolk and most of North Norfolk).. so, better late than never the answer to your query.

It sounds like you've found the magazines and crew rest areas of the coastal defence battery. A strange coincidence as I just read someones post asking the same question on UF. There's some information on NHER.
