Really super pics. eew.
How does one worm... their way into a silk factory?
I particuarly like the strong timbers on the Duk Ling. I bet Vic P... will have have something to say about them.
I'm also amazed that they have built those tall building on the side of the mountain.
Especially with the dangers of landslips.
Do you know how they anchor these buildings into the ground?

Vic will proberbly it's a load of old Junk :D

The silk factory was great Miv, but expensive.
I asked the lady that was doing the embroidery
if it was ok to take her picture and she answered
me in faultless english in the affirmative.
When I congratulated her on her english she
smiled and said it was chinese she had trouble with :D

When we were in Hong Kong we had a trip round the harbour in a Sanpan. We went round this famous floating restaurant (shown further back in thread).
On the news today it says while being moved it sank in a 1000 ft of water. Our queen visited it many years ago during a far eastern trip. Sad to see its fate.
