Motorcycle and models

Postby Shuntdaddy » 29 Aug 2020, 14:27

Hi
As we are new to the area, and apart from going to the stores on the Hardwick estates, which basically all the same, is there any motorcycle dealers and model shops in the area ? Or am I going to look to going out Norwich or Peterborough way.

Thanks

Quite a few m/cycle dealers but the one I mostly use is C and A Superbikes at Willow Pk Saddlebow.
For my Triumph stuff I go to Lings of Watton.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

Morning Shuntdaddy. As a frequent user of the local model shops as EWW says there is a well stocked hobby shop down Norfolk street, there is one on the West Lynn industrial estate, this mainly caters for RC but does have kits too and if you are at the coast at Hunstanton they also have a good model shop too.

Well i ventured out yesterday (saturday) and went to BJ Models... ooooooo i thought i died and went to heaven..   my ideal shop plenty of tools and models, nothing like i could find in Essex. i was tempted to by an Ngauge set ready to start my layout project, but had to hold back.. i spent some time in there looking around but had to watch me time as i only had half hour as i parked the other end of Norfolk street. I must say there is a lot of historic places round here to explore. especially as i am really interested in the railway history.

Give look at rogerfarnworth.com website. Masses of photos of Lynn rail. Also regards models, look at what David Jennings has been making. He is a member on here. See attachment. Plenty on here too, just search kings Lynn and south Lynn railway.
