Help the nurses

Postby Tresagreen » 18 Apr 2020, 16:12

This is a really easy and practical way to help your local nurses. Daughter in law works on the Neo Natal unit here and says the nurses and others who have to wear face masks, are getting sore ears from the loops. These extenders are so easy to make from scraps of material and a couple of buttons. So any of you ladies, and chaps, out there who want to while away a bit of time ( even you Hornchurch, could put your sewing skills to good use  ) instructions are on the web. Just google face mask adapter pattern. It's the one that says ear saver. As long as they are 14cm long, they can be any sensible width. As they say on Blue Peter, here's one I made earlier. T
