Don't know, but Watlington War Memorial lists a William Duffield, son of John and Elizabeth Duffield of Easter's Row, Watlington. So it existed then. Sometimes row of cottages given names like this when it is not an actual road

Might be worth asking the perish council if they can help, I would of thought they'd have records or can put you in contact directly with someone who can.

Easy mistake to make umper, when I was looking on google maps that place
came up also. "Watlington Norfolk" Desira is looking for. That Watlington
looks a nice place though.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

Desira,

I was speaking with someone from Watlington last night and they said that Easters Row was a row of cottages on what is now called School Road between Church Road and St Peters Road. It is only a short stretch of road and the cottages should still be there if you want to look for them

Hi
Found this row of cottages yesterday ,thanks. Spoke to a lady who was at her door but she only moved in 6months ago from Lancashire.
Was also hoping to find Rose House Main Rd. West Winch but to much traffic about to see/ look properly.

Another address I can't find. Now that 1939 register is on ancestry.co.uk I have found that in 1939 my father was living with his grandparents in 102 Mill Road Watlington, and my great uncle next door at 103. I cannot find numbers this high on google, so does anyone know whether the houses were re-numbered or major demolition?

whoops......
It now appears from comparison with other pages in the Register that these may have been Schedule numbers not street numbers. So does anyone know how to find out. Is it safe to assume that they worked along the road one side at a time?
