Any of you old boys out there have a map that shows the exact location of "Rover Yard" in Surrey St in the 1880s.
Your help would be appreciated.

I am very interested in local history of mid-Norfolk and I have lots of connections to families in the Lynn area. http://www.norfolk-tours.co.uk/

:smt023 .... Thanks' Teddy, my maternal G-Mother Mary Elizabeth was born in this Yard in 1880 to Ann Elizabeth Bailey (Maull), one of yours I believe ?
On her birth certificate there is no mention of Red, just Rover Yard.
Another snippet of information for your family tree Teddy.

Thanks.

It does appear that she did use the same names for her children. :)

I haven't checked the baptism registers though, so they could help.

Thank you , Paul & Teddy. I have found some of the Rose & Bailey families scattered about in my tree so have deleted them and putting them back with their parents & siblings.
Long job but worth doing - so watch out Paul we are going to be related somewhere down the line. There is no escape from the North End.

Were you related to Brenda Rose? She was born 1940 and became my aunt when she married 1959.
