Hi spainguy I will try to help,,
What do you see instead of an image? Is it text or an empty box?

Here is an image of a parrot, can you see it?
Image

If not what happens when you click on this link? Do you get any error messages?

Thanks for your reply OG. I can only see the parrot on the link that you sent. Whenever there should be a photo, map etc all I get is a small square with a green hill, blue sky and a white cloud and the word IMAGE at the side.
I have tried logging out and in again but still the same problem.
Hoping that you can help.
Cheers.

What browsers are you both using? Firefox, Internet explorer, Opera, Chrome or something else?
Since you can see the pic in the link this is strange. Have you tried a different browser?

Not sure about such technical things but I think it is microsoft edge. Certainly haven't changed anything for weeks. Just go to favourites and click on. Can right click on the little picture spainguy described and open in a new page. So can see all images its just they are not embedded in the text like they have been for years.
I suspect something has been upgraded when it was perfectly OK as it was

Over zealous security I think.
Got the images to appear in chrome, you need to go to the Chrome settings, then -

Privacy and security, then -
Site settings, then -
Additional content settings then -
Insecure content

Once in here you need to add https://www.kingslynn-forums.co.uk in the allowed section.

I don't use MS Edge so don't know what needs to be done there but I guess it will be something similar. I always use Firefox without any problems.
Maybe there will be a Firefox update some time and I will have the same problem or maybe the folks that make firefox are a bit more careful!

:smt017 ...... I'm a M/S Edge user and have had the same trouble with image's over the week-end. The photographs I posted last week about Softleys Yard which are stored on a third-party hosting site are OK, very strange.

Its a bit of a mystery. I had the same problem with just one picture that would not show. It was the latest one from papa smurf. I even
took it off and reinstalled it but still no show. Today it is right as rain and back up.
It is one of the pooter glitches that happen from time to time that we have no control over.
Very annoying but seem to right itself eventually.

Our hosting site changes things from time to time and we have no control over what they do. If we have a problem they
are normally very quick to jump on it and put it right. Sorry for any inconvenience to our members.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

There doesn't seem to be a problem with the images today. I didn't do anything except go to bed then wake up this morning. Perhaps I'll have to do that more often.

If you go to bed and do not wake up you are REALLY in trouble
