HGV's

I don't know if it's sat-nav's to blame or driver's ignoring the 7.5t weight limits, but i'm fed up with these huge lorries thundering around a residential estate. Having spent the best part of 18 years working in transport it's easy for me to spot the difference between a 3.5t van an a hgv why can't the police?

Returning from Milton Keynes yesterday our sat nav directed us through a small village with narrow roads. Right in the centre of the village were two hgvs,head to head with no way of passing each other and one driver not even prepared to make the effort. We left them to it, reversed, and made our way back to a main road. As useful as they are sat navs can be a pita.

Yes Sat-Nav's can be a Pita, but having used them for years you get use to them, And better than having to check a map. But I'd always carry a map with me when working just in case. And this helped me through years of driving on Multidrop to delivering prescriptions and finally working for a charity moving stock between shops and collecting and delivering furniture across Norfolk.
