Hello phil, my name is Dean and i am Victoria Rump (pointer)'s grandson who is related to your second cousin. I have recently been researching the family history too and came across this post. so Victorias grandfather was Lionel buxton Pointer 1897-1976, who was Berts younger brother, also as you say their father was Thomas Pointer and mother Emily pointer(evans). Victoria then married my grandfather Malcolm as someone else had said
i hope this finds you and your families well, and am here if u need, all the best
Dean.

Hi Dean, nice to have your information,I have some old photos from my grandmother ( Berties daughter) had of the family.I can sent them if they are of interest to you.
The family was from Kingslyn and Middletown earlier.
Bertie died in 1924 age 40 after illness from the war,his daughter Evelyn ( my grandmother)moved to Australia in 1955 so I am descent in Australia.
I don’t have any info on Lionel (1898-1976)descendants.
Best wishes,
Phil

You could add it to this thread on the pointer family by following the really easy instructions in the "help" section on how to post pictures.
Give it a go.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

They are displayed Phil. They are large files so come up in that format. If you can change them to 800x800 they will show straight away.
I change them so they can be seen when I open up the forum. Members know that if they click on your link they will see the pictures.
I am changing your now :)

Hello Phil I'm sorry its taken so long, those photos are amazing thank you so much. I recognise a lot of them from the photo I've sent. I've added names on one picture for you. Looks like your photo was taken a few years after this one. The young man in the bottom right of your picture is my great great grandad Lionel. In my picture I noticed there is 9 children ,the young girl violet i don't know if she is a child or grandchild of Thomas and Emily. I also think violet is the young girl in the centre of your photo. Hope this helps and I'm really grateful for the photos thank you again.
All the best
Dean

It does not matter how they come up Dean as we will change them for you. Great pictures so just keep posting as its a great archive
for anyone researching the Pointer family. Some long lost rely in China or Timbuktu could put the Pointer name in a search engine and
your great pictures would pop up.
