So who worked there,I was there the last 7 year's before it it shut down, I have a few pics of people, plus I have a video which was done the last week it runs for about an hour

:D I worked at the Canners from 1969 to 1988 when they closed the transport dept as an HGV driver, any photos and especially a video would be more than welcome :D

Like I say the video is on for about an hour no idea how to load.any of it on here,but photos maybe I can they are of people who worked there not the factory building , if you know any names who you think might be in a pic let me me know see if there is any,the video I'm part shows the cans gping to the molly cooker and the new stork 2 also various people supposed to be working lol

It is easy to put pictures on here paul66 just follow the easy step by step instructions in the HELP section. Look forward to seeing them.

Mrs Harvey with the Bowls Trophy that was played for annually at Anmer Social Club between the Managers and the Engineers. It was made from old nuts, bolts and other bits and pieces and played for in memory of her late husband Basil.

Thanks to Sylvia Daniels we have some names, but not all.

Back, Reg Baker, David Manning, Tony Porter, Allun Price, Steve Mc Key, Bob Wright, Ray Danials, Stephen Farr, Andy Barnard, Roy Clark, Tony Lee, Martin Vice and Audrey Stodard.

In the middle, Pat Bunting, Mrs Harvey and George Axton

Front, John Wicks, Stan Cruikshank, John Danials (Sylvia’s husband), Ricky ?, David Tilbury, Mick Tilbury, and Tony Bunkle.

Bloody government legislations! Those young lady's forced to retire, could of done with a bit of spirit from the woman of the dagenham ford plant back in 1968! Bless them. :roll:
