Can't remember either spaceman, I was hoping you would know. I have
quite a few pictures of the office staff but cannot rememer many of
their names either.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

Lovely to see pictures of my uncle Peter Mills on this thread. Glad he's so well remembered.

Tom must have been waiting for the magic midnight to come round spaceman, paid
all night and day off next day, magic.

Ev. I never got on with I J at work but whenever we meet now he's as friendly as pie, then there's poor old Sam (You broke your mothers heart you won't break mine) Harvey, he once told me "Evvy is a natural leader of men". Who is it in the photo with his arms folded?..

Great bloke! keith Alcock known as Corbet. If you ever run into him ask him
about John Pegg when we were in France trying to ask a little old lady
where the Railway station was and not being able to speak one word of french :D

Ivan was his uncle. When Ivan Alcock worked with Ronnie (tiger) Balls it was
Ivan's little bit of humour to go up to the pay window in the days when we
still got a weekly paypacket and ask for "Alcock and Balls please" never
failed to make young Christine the pay clerk blush

I knew Peter Mills very well, worked with him at Porvair for years. We had a painter called Peter so they were known as Peter the painter and Peter the carpender
to distinguish them from each other, as you say E.W.W, top bloke.

Seeing some of these old pictures made me laugh! Brought back great memories of the 'old days' at EEB.
I think the spaceman has been busy with the old copy and paste off my facebook page ;-)
