The Engineering Society - formed in 1968 - reintroduced Dwile Flonking in, I think, the Spring of 1969, before we all went on our Industrial Training from Easter to September. We held the Sessions in the garden at the rear of the Ship, now part of Tesco's, on Gaywood Road. Don't know what happened after 1970. The Society also organised some dance events in the Main Hall, but were banned, after the last one, as the smell from the incense/joss sticks hung around for quite a while afterwards.

I think I can remember by older brother Tony Simpson being involved in this when he was at Tech? I'll have to ask him.
