I thought that the Alderman Catleugh School primarily accepted Pupils from Catholic familys. My son attended around the 1960s. I believe they had a Speech Day around that time and my son won a prize (David Eyles). Shortly after we left King's Lynn. M Dunnett,

To reply to the Deputy Head Boy and the SS Uganda question, I was there Neil and glad to hear you are doing well, such a shame about Hugh. I still occasionally email Rob W. I live overseas now as I see you do. Good luck with all you do.

Is anyone able to supply any of the Christian names of the following sportsmen?

1958-59 J Gathercole and N Shirley (athletics)
1960-61 J Baxter (football), C Wardale (athletics)
1968 Benefer (athletics)
1969-70 Sherman, Wilkin and Hornigold (athletics)
