Bit strange to have two Alberts unless Albert William should read William Albert.

Sad to see another old Northender has gone. My old mate Alan Holden. I worked for him part time as a barman for many years. He kept
the Fishermans Arms and then the Club on the fleet. RIP boss.

Just a query from someone who is not a member. Has anyone got a Horace (horry) Fisher in their tree anywhere.
He may have a middle name but the person did not know of one. Thanks.

Horace Frederick Fisher b 1923 died 2005 married Ruby E Nickolls in 1950 .
His parents are Frederick E Fisher b 1892 married 1921 to Eleanor B Younge.
1939c living at 26, Diamond St. K/L ynn

I don't know what Horace did but his grandfather Frederick Arthur Fisher 1870/1 - 1934 was a Dock Labourer and he and his wife died 22, Lansdowne St. K/L

In 1939 Horace was an apprentice plumber and electrician, and his father Frederick Ernest, was a railway engine driver, if this helps.

Is his full name Alexander R Balls b 1939? I had his Dad in my tree but not him or his mother.
If it is correct his dad died aged 25y and is on the Lowestoft Naval Memorial he was on the H.M.S. OUZEL
