Hi, I was wondering whether anyone could help identify where and when these photos were taken and who would be in them?!

Hi Rach, the first of your photos could have been the attached and the third one I am pretty sure, is down by the South Gate. I'm sure SOMEONE will correct me if I am wrong.

The man with the pipe in picture 3 looks like old Bill Worfolk. They had a boatyard on Blubberhouse Creek on the Nar.
If its after 1945 Vic Pratt (master boatbuilder) may be in that picture.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

In pic 1 the person on the left is Ted Suiter who in the 50s emigrated to Australia
Apparently its Douglas Suiters boat in pic 2, Teds brother
In pic 3 my uncle Douglas Suiter is the one lying down on the boat, think the date is about 1953, the same year he died from meningitis and a infection of the inner ear caused im told by swimming in the River Ouse, and is at South Gate.
Any further information would be appreciated

Would they be any relation to Henry Suiter who had the garage down Beulah street. Or Suiters the builders who are still in the town.

I assume related to the builders as my dad ( bn.1915) was a carpenter and joiner, and his grandfather, William Suiter(bn 1855) was a journeyman carpenter/bricklayer. I don't know how related yet. I can go back just 5 generations to early 1800, and therefore so many branches off, ive basically researched direct ancestors, although I have found Henry Suiter as a ancestor but back in 1800s! so think it could be both!
