Thank you very much indeed EWW thats excellent, and so quick too. I'll see if I can find the buildings on google earth or a map now. I suppose the street numbers might have changed but I can get the general area.

Thanks again. Regards Jo

I've been looking at the Bakers Arms ex-Bushel and found this:

Does anyone know what happened to the building after this? I know its owned by MCP now.

The Norfolk pub site says it has been there since 1794. Been remodelled a few times though.

I was only reading this morning on the police website that a burglary was tried on the pub a few nights ago.

There is a picture on here of the Albert Inn. My sister used to live nearly next door to the pub. I used it a few times.
I was at school with Mr Joyces (the landlord) sons Mick and Tony Joyce.

Excellent Thanks.... Rules out my idea tho....
This was posted on facebook, supposedly from the Lattice house, but the church tower is in the wrong place (too far right), the gateway in the wall is missing and perspective is all out.....

There are other anomalies that would suggest this is not the lattice.... Any thoughts?

I think you will find that the picture is of Pilot Street and the road going off to the right is North Street. The big building you can see is
the old St Nicks school. The pub on the left is the old Fisherman's Return which was known as Aunt Charlottes. My uncle Toms house was
in front of the white painted wall.

There are pictures of that area on here.
