Latest from Campbells Meadow

Postby Jaggy2409 » 18 Sep 2011, 21:45

The Lynn news has this picture on it's website, a bit more went down on saturday, as far as the digger on the right.

The EDP has a very similar image on its website.

I saw someone this morning park up and take images so perhaps more from the papers soon?

Apologies for being so big.

They are now demolishing the back part which connects to the tower.

EDIT: Is any able to set up a camera similar to the Southgates (I know thats CTS decision) for at least daylight viewing?

Its not to big Jaggy. 800 wide is what we have as the forum standard.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

Demolition is proceeding quickly, not much left in front of the tower now..

Anyone heard the same "rumour" as I was told today, apparently a tree or trees have been felled that have preservations orders on?

Obviously I don`t know the answer myself, thus the reason for this post but just wondering if there are any elements of truth to this issue?

it looks so differant with the old canteen and locker rooms gone as in last picture where you can now see the old waste bay and the entrance to the factory minus the old glass connecting tunnel

There was a crane beside the tower today.I'm just wondering if they're about to start taking out the water tanks.
