I was wondering that if the Doctor and Nurse in the medical pic are real, if it could be the
elusive Dr Wedgwood?

Thanks for those.

I have the Medical Mission one and I wonder how many more cards there are in the set? On the extreme right of the picture, I can see other cards available and above the Do Not Touch sign on the table, there is a sign that reads "CMS Medical Mission". I wonder if these were people from that mission rather than locals?

As the card was sent in November 1910 and the exhibition still appears to be on at that date, perhaps someone could have a look in the LNA at around that date for us please? 8)

Speny 4 hrs yesterday going through the LN&A for 1909-1910 Ted and could not find a thing
about the event above. Not many pics in papers of that time either. Still could have been in
there in a tiny footnote somewhere though.

just to let everyone know, WRESTLING RETURNS, to the corn hall after a long absence, in march of this year. I, for one, who was not born during the wrestling boom, and not alive whilst shows ran at the corn hall, is so excited to see this return. and as my job, is actually being a referee on the british wrestling circuit, i am doing everything to try and referee this show. anyone got any photo's from old shows? as i might try make a film about this also!

I used to go on Saturday nights in the 60s to watch the "old girls" who sat on the front row close to the ring, they were more entertaining than the wrestling at times. :munch

Anyone else see/remember this act. I was in the audience and all they did was go round and round. It was part of Lynn Festival 1962.
Would have been more intersting watching the waltzers going round.

I never knew the whole place was used as a skating rink. Only knew the one in Tower St.

Have only just come across this. Love the two in the Bedouin Tent, 'Africa and the East' - Betty on the right but who is missing? Wilson or Keppel.
