Can't wait for Bob Booths new book released on October 2nd, it's titled "King's Lynn An Illustrated Street Directory 1960" I think it's a slightly different format to his other great books but like I said can't wait.....

Me too, can't wait.

Set me thinking though, dangerous I know. I am nearing the end of my book about the Purfleet and the price for using photographs in the library and museum collections is adding quite a lot to my costs. How on earth do other authors handle this? Any tips?

After seeing the preview in the local rag today I cannot wait. Two of the few shown
really interest me as one is of Windsor Row where my uncle George lived, and the
other of Wellington Street where my father and grandfather lived. Looks like it is
going to invoke lots of memories. Well done Bob.

Excellent book, lots of interesting information and photos that made me reminisce. Some of the photos still make me wonder how and why some of the buildings and properties were allowed to be demolished

The book has also got me thinking. I thought I was living in Vancouver Avenue in 1960 but we are not listed at the number I know we definately lived at. Where was I in 1960

Bob Booth has a new book out again that covers the years from the 1950s to the 1990s. Although a lot of the pictures are
already on here there are a lot of new ones also. Well worth a look and can be bought from the usual places..Smiths ect.
