WW1 on TV

Postby rospaul » 12 Nov 2014, 10:27

:( ....... Over the past weeks I have watched with interest many programs about the thousands of soldiers and airmen who sadly lost their lives during the WW1. So why are there never any programs dedicated to the brave men of the Royal Navy and Naval Reserve, who also lost their lives at the call of King and Country? Many such men coming from Kings Lynn.

thats an interesting comment Rospaul, and i dont know the answer, but your reference to the other "arms" of the ww1 forces, provoked me to consider it..

so many died... aboard ships.. we should remember them too...
