Police in King's Lynn are appealing for witnesses to an incident on the Fairstead Estate during which a man was threatened with a machete.

The incident occurred initially at Butterwick at around 10.30pm on Saturday 25th March when, following a verbal altercation, one man threatened another with a machete which he waved out of a flat window.

This man then left the address and pursued the other male on a motorbike towards Postmill, still threatening him with the weapon.

No-one was injured during the incident and a man in his 20s was subsequently arrest on suspicion of affray. He is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

Officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the incident. PC Graham Pashley can be contacted at King's Lynn Police Station on 0845 456 4567.
