Postby Mike.H » 20 Feb 2006, 15:36

Police in King's Lynn are appealing for information following a spate of vehicle crime in the Friars area of the town overnight between Friday/Saturday, 18th and 19th February.

Between 7pm on Friday and 8am the following morning, five cars in Friars Street, Ethel Terrace, Guannock Terrance and London Road were deliberately damaged by either having their tyres slashed or drivers' doors bent back.

Between midnight on Friday and noon on Saturday, a grey Ford Orion, registration K736 NFB, was stolen from nearby Williams Street. These incidents may all be linked.

Any witnesses who saw suspicious activity, particularly around vehicles, in this area at the relevant times are asked to contact PC Carl Ritchie at Lynn CID on 0845 456 4567.
