Witness Appeal – Assault, King's Lynn

Postby Mike.H » 30 Jan 2006, 21:16

Police in King's Lynn are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a 16-year-old boy on Tennyson Road.

The assault occurred on Friday, 13th January as the boy was leaving the Blue & Gold (King's Lynn Football Club venue) at 8.15pm having been unable to secure entrance because the venue was full.

He was followed from the venue by a group of approximately seven youths, all in their late teens. In Tennyson Road, he was pushed to the ground and punched in the face by some of the group, who then left the area via The Walks.

It is believed this group may have also tried to gain entry to the event at the Blue & Gold.

The victim was able to describe two of the males from the group:

· The first was white, 17 or 18 years old, 5ft 9in tall, of an average build, with dark brown short spiky hair and wearing a white t-shirt.
· The second was also white, same age, 5ft 10in tall, of a slim build, with short light brown hair with blond highlights, wearing navy tracksuit bottoms and a red-coloured t-shirt.

Any witnesses or anyone with information about the offenders is asked to contact PC Leroy Lucas at King's Lynn Police Station on 0845 456 4567.
