Hi all.

I'm hoping one of you can identify this pipelike object located on Roydon Common...

TF6248 must be a grid reference i thought but no, TF6248 refers to an area of The Wash north-west of Hunstanton:
https://gridreferencefinder.com?gr=TF6200048000|TF6248|1&v=r.
FYI TF6248 is 'vaguely' due north of Roydon Common but only vaguely.

Has anyone got an idea what this pipe is?

Hi Warwound, believe these are used in Ecological surveys. Called Dipwells, they are used for measuring water levels. There are several websites showing these. Hope this helps. T
