Have not been myself but been told that the F&C restaurant in Tower street is good.

Is it better than Denny's of Gaywood? Strictly a takeaway, that, though. That reminds me... I've not been there for aaaages. I guess I don't live as near any more.

Denny's us ok, but I always thought Crispin's was better.

But I prefer a run up to Vegas in Hunstanton, either to sit on the front or to have in the car parked up on the cliff road.

The chippy down Loke Road for me, or further afield, Fishers of Hunstanton.

Or if you want a little trip about 7 miles east of Lynn, try the fish and chip shop in Gayton. Very fresh, tasty, not greasy and huge portions.

Oh, I'd love to have 2 pieces and 6 today for tea! my mother, father, and I (as a child) used to split that order back in the late 50's, early 60's - hard to believe but the portions must have been generous - we enjoyed every bit of the 'scraps', too! Either from New or usually, 'Old' Limberts - because it was so close to our house. How many remember that?
