From the Lynn News paper sent in from a reader.. I missed it as i don't get the paper and was told by someone about it and i had to nick the page from someones copy.....posting it incase anyone else is interested and missed it.
I hope to get a copy of the original from the said person as my mum is in this photo. Lynn news is contacting them for us.
I must make an effort to get this paper regularly as they often have one or two old photo's.......

Glad to see you have worked out posting Thabs (thank god for grandkids :D )

Recognise some of the names on there, but sadly one of them
on there is no longer with us, Gwen Stewart, she was a relative
of mine. She married Bobby Johnson after her first husband died.
Did you know Bobby? he used to do a bit of boxing.
Connie Jeffries is still married to Graham Fysh, 50 yrs now.
And the Fulchers lived a couple of doors from mum on
Queen mary rd.
I do not want thanks for any research I am able to help out with. I just love doing it.

Thabs,
saw this photo in Tuesday's Lynn News ( I get it a bit late)

It says St James and Gaywood Park Old Girls. Wondered if you knew any of them?

Age is just a number!

Strange that isn't it? I worked in France during 1978 and, a couple of years ago, we went and had a few days in Dol, a mate from 1978 lives in Normandy, so we went to see him.

When he opened his door, after the usual greetings, I pointed out the obvious, that his curly black hair and his black facial hair was now grey! A quick answer to that was, in Norman French, "Have you looked in the mirror lately?" Something I had chosen to overlook! I get very depressed when I think that I have lived more of my life than I have got left, so I choose not to think about it!

I still see myself as a teenager most of the time, I act it sometimes and have to get pulled up by my children. One day, when Miss Teddy had a boyfriend over, my son, 17, asked me to "stop showing off"! OMG!
