Great music and BBQ today at True's yard in aid of funds. These guys put on a show
that rivalled anything you could have seen on the Tuesday market festival too shows.

A big thank you to you all and long may you go on playing. :smt086

Normally six of them but they are known as Too Many Whickers. Great.

Too Many Whickers play around the area quite a bit. The rest of the guys did the gig
for funds for the yard as a one off. I would like to see them all playing together again
and so would all who attended yesterday.

I hope to post a list of their gigs as soon as I have it.

The Merchants Bar (hansa house) is soon to be putting on live music.

I think the Maids still has live also. Some stuff featured in this section
from the Maids.

I'm from Too Many Whickers , and in reply to some requests , we are next out at Wolferton Scarecrow Festival August Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon . We don't do too many gigs , we prefer to do a few but good ones !! Sunday was great we all really enjoyed playing , and the reception was brill . As we say " once you've been whickered , ordinary music just don't sound the same "

Hello Steve and welcome to the forum. Thanks for your participation in our fund raising
day at the yard. We raised quite a lot for funds and what we raised will be going in part
towards a new boiler and rads as the old ones are past their sell by date. Just like to say
that your serving of Oysters is nearly as good as your playing. ;-)

The Merchants Bar (hansa house) and Denver Windmill shop and café
closed its doors for the last time on Sunday. Did it last 6 months?
So no live music there in the foreseeable future.

Saw the Wolferton Scarecrow event a few years back, I think it might have been the first one, very good, driving round the village looking for them, well worth a trip to see it.
Also good to see the old band represenatives still plying their trade, strange though they dont look a bit like I remembered them in the 60's.
